Why is Catal Hoyuk an important archaeological find?
Catal Hoyuk was discovered in the 1950s, and excavated by James Mellaart. The excavation has a long time. As we know they have still not excavated everything yet. As the researchers and excavators searched more for lost objects, they found paintings, of people dancing, and hunting. Most of them are painted in red.
The excavators found out that the dead people where buried right underneath the houses. There are still theories about if it smelled bad or not. There is a statue, which was named the Calal Huyuk statue.
Many things where made out of clay, stone and some where pottery too.
I liked how you add pictures to the post! I liked how you started the little paragraph
